INTERNATIONALLY
Member of the 2003 U.S. Junior National Team that won the silver medal at the 2003 Junior World Championships in Nanjing, China ... played in all 10 games of the tournament, making eight starts (designated player and first base) ... fourth in team batting with a .435 average (10-for-23) ... scored eight runs and drove in seven ... hit three home runs in the tournament and had a .870 slugging percentage ... also had a perfect fielding percentage in 29 chances.

Collegiate:

•was just one of two players to start all 54 games in 2008
•led the team in runs scored (35), walks (34) and stolen bases (17)
• tied for second in the Big 12 with seven steals in conference play
•hit safely in 9-of-10 games spanning from 2/22 versus UNLV to 3/2 against Utah
•went 2-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a walk against No. 2 Northwestern (2/23)
•blasted a two-run home run in her one plate appearance of UT's 3-1 win over Stanford (2/24)
•went 2-for-3, including an RBI double in the 5-1 conference-opening win over Nebraska (3/21)
•notched a two-run single in the 9-2 win over Oklahoma State (4/6)
•tallied two RBI, two singles and a run scored in the 4-0 blanking of Sam Houston State (4/16)
•blasted her school record-tying 21st career home run in a 10-1 win over Texas Tech (4/17)
•posted a combined 4-for-7 effort at the plate in the doubleheader sweep of TAMU Corpus Christi (5/1) ... notching a double, a triple, four RBI and four runs scored

AS A JUNIOR (2007)
•named to the 2007 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year preseason watch list
•granted a NCAA waiver (redshirt) after missing all but eight games
•started UT's first eight games before tearing the posterior cruciate ligament in her left knee against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/17)
•connected for a leadoff double and gave UT its first base runner of the game in its 1-0 season-opening victory over then-No. 3 UCLA (2/9)
•went 2-for-3 against North Texas, including three runs scored, two RBI and a home run (2/16)

BEFORE TEXAS
2004 State of Arizona Gatorade Softball Player of the Year award as a senior at Flowing Wells High School for head coach Armando Quiroz ... 2004 Arizona 5A Southern Region Athlete of the Year ... first-team all-state as both junior and a senior ... led Flowing Wells to the 2004 state regional title and to the 2002 Arizona 5A state championship ... a four-time all-region: first team selection as a junior and senior, second team as a sophomore and honorable mention as a freshman ... 2002 Arizona 5A Co-Player of the Year as a sophomore ... as senior, batted .521 with an on-base percentage of .746 with seven home runs ... also made her mark in the pitching circle with a 0.41 earned run average ... also a four-year member of the Flowing Wells girls basketball team and was a two-time first-team all-state selection in the sport ... led FWHS in rebounding all four years and was the leading scorer as a junior and senior ... was also a member of the volleyball team as a freshman and sophomore ... an honor roll student and won the Dr. Vogt Scholar-Athlete Award.
