As a Junior (2008): Selected as a NFCA/Louisville Slugger Third-Team All-American and Easton First-Team All-American … Named First-Team All-SEC and SEC All-Defensive Team … Named to the NFCA All-Southeast Region second team for second straight year … Started in all 75 games in center and led off for the Gators … Batted .349, second-best on team … Led the team in at bats (249), runs (62), triples (5) and stolen bases (24) and was second in hits (87) … Finished second in the SEC in runs scored as well … Reached base in all but 10 games in the entire season, including a 17-game run from April 6 at Mississippi State to May 4 at Tennessee … Second on team with 24 multi-hit games … Was one of only two players to have a double-digit hit streak, hitting in 10 straight games from April 16 to May 3 ... Earned All-SEC first-team, SEC All-Tournament Team and NFCA All-Southeast Region second-team honors ... Started all 72 games at second base and was Florida’s lead-off batter in all but one game ... Led the team in batting average (.365), at bats (241), runs (46), hits (88), doubles (15), triples (5), total bases (122), stolen bases (24), and on-base percentage (.420) ... Went on a season-high nine-game hit streak from April 24 to May 10 and ended the season on a seven-game hit streak … Had 26 multiple-hit games and seven multiple-RBI games on the season ... Recorded five game-winning RBI and a team-leading 16 game-winning runs ... Was 2-for-4 in the SEC Tournament Championship game vs. LSU ... Grabbed a hit in each game of the Regionals in Gainesville … Went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases in the final game against Texas A&M … Named SEC Athlete of the Week for April 22-29 after games against South Carolina and Mississippi State … Had a game-winning double in the extra-inning win over Mississippi State on April 28 ...
