In the record books at Stanford University, Sorensen’s name is a common item. After leading the Cardinal to the Women’s College World Series in 2001 and 2004, she finished her career with records in every major pitching category: earned run average, wins, strikeouts, and innings pitched. She is a three-time NCAA All-American and was named All-Pac-10 on four occasions. A 2005 International Sports Invitational Champion, Sorensen knows how to handle tough competition. She has been a professional softball player since she graduated college in 2004. Dana brings experience and presence to the pitching mound as well as leadership to the professional level.
